Practical: 1 Day Practical training is mandatory and must be completed before writing the Intermediate exam

Learn about the roasting process, including roast cycles, roast levels, identifying defects, physical changes beans undergo during the process, as well as workspace management and lean production.
Online exams are required for both the Foundations and the Intermediate modules and upon passing, students receive their international certification, which is of great value especially to contract roasters.
We encourage anyone who is part of the industry, has a firm knowledge of basic roasting skills and has access to a roaster, to attend this training and advance their roasting skills.
